How it works

One question a day

A new question opens every day at midnight UTC and closes exactly 24 hours later. You pick a side, then guess which side the rest of the world picked. That's the whole game.

Why you can't see the result

Live results would bias everyone who votes later — people drift toward whoever's ahead. So the split stays sealed until the poll closes. You can see how many people have voted, just not which way they went.

The trade-off is that your result runs a day behind. Today's question sits at the top of the page. Yesterday's reveal is right below it, open to everyone whether you've voted or not. You can change your pick and your call as often as you like until you lock them in.

The daily clock

00:00 UTC
Voting closes. Results are computed and published, and the next question opens in the same moment.
All day
Vote whenever you like. There's no advantage to being early or late.
Next close
— from now.

Streaks

Two of them. Your voting streak counts consecutive days you cast a vote. Your prediction streak counts consecutive days you correctly called the winning side. Missing a close resets the first; a wrong call resets the second.

Do I need an account?

No. Voting works straight away and your streak accrues on this device. An account exists so that streak survives a cleared browser, and so you can appear on the rankings.

One vote each

Enforced with a signed cookie, a hashed IP and a bot check. It's a speed bump rather than a vault — this is a game, not an election. Accounts get slightly stronger guarantees.

Where the country data comes from

Cloudflare attaches a country code to every request it serves, so the regional breakdowns cost nothing and need no tracking beyond what's already in the request. We don't store IP addresses in readable form.
